Here is your chance to find out, or to give this wonderful butchery workshop experience as a perfect present.
We have a fantastic team of Master Butchers who will give you the chance to learn and practise the art of Pork Butchery.
We can even offer tailored courses around the butchery you wish to learn.
The three hour experience includes:
A bit about who are we, what we do, how we decide what to sell and where we get it from.
The anatomy of a pig and jargon busting
Demonstration of butchering a pig
How we prepare a whole rolled loin of pork
Your chance to bone and roll a loin of pork
The secret of making a good sausage
Make your own sausages
A wrap up Q&A session while you enjoy the sausages you have made, dressed with local mustard and served in a roll accompanied with local beer or apple juice.
To take away: 1kg of sausages made by you, and a whole rolled loin boned and rolled by you (approx retail value £45)
You will also take with you a new insight into the skills of pork butchery, together with a few of our own butcher’s secrets you’ll have learned along the way.
The whole session will last around three hours and cost £299 + VAT including the pork you take home.
